What is group monkey?
Good question.
Group monkey is an online "group manager." It keeps track of your groups! What exactly does it keep track of?
Well, it keeps track of finances. Do you always pay for your friends' lunch, and then forget to get paid back? Do people borrow money from you and then forget to return it? Do you have trouble splitting electricity bills with your roommates? Don't like dealing with exact change? Group monkey will change your life. It keeps track of who owes who what, it splits charges evenly, and gives you a history of your spendings.
It also keeps track of what we call "events." You can post an event, lets say, like a soccer game. Then everyone in your group will have that event in their events list, so they know what everyone else in the group is doing. Your group might be your soccer team, and you use it to keep track of practice times, game times and locations, etc.
You can be part of however many groups you want. Start a group with your extended family to keep in touch, start a group with your roommates to keep track of finances and communal groceries, start a group with your friends to keep an email list.
The possibilities are endless.
